Description

Home Farm House is a house dating back to the medieval period, with significant alterations in the 17th century and later. The front is painted stucco with a tiled roof. A gabled wing extends to the right, and two gabled eaves dormers are visible on the left. The house is two storeys high. An open porch is located to the left of centre. The ground floor has a three-light casement window to the left, a six-light casement window to the right, and a three-light casement window on the far right within the wing; the latter two windows have arched heads. Three three-light casement windows are present on the first floor. The east gable reveals timber framing and includes a chimney stack with tiled offsets. Inside, exposed beams are visible, including a medieval cruck truss on the first floor, located at the back of the chimney stack where it joins the cross wing. Blades rise to the apex and are linked by a saddle piece.
