Description
The Thatched Cottage is a 17th-century cottage located on Parrott's Lane in Buckland Common. The ground floor is constructed of colourwashed flint rubble, while the first floor features a timber frame with colourwashed brick nogging. The cottage has a thatched roof and stands two storeys tall. The ground floor includes two casement windows and a central door, all adorned with small wooden hoods. The first floor has two modern 'eyebrow' dormer casement windows. To the left, there is a modern colourwashed brick extension with a tiled roof. On the right, a single-storey modern colourwashed brick lean-to leads to a single-storey timber and glazed sun room.
