Description

FLAMSTEAD TROWLEY HILL ROAD TL 0714 (West side) 9/59 No. 16 (St. Leonard's - Cottage) GV II

House. Early C18. Red brick chequered with black headers in Flemish-bond and red dressings, wooden moulded eaves cornice, very steep old red tile roof. Low parallel rear wing of red brick with slate roof. A 2-storeys house facing E. 2 windows to each floor and central entrance. Flush box sashes of 6/6 panes and 8/8 panes on 1st floor, and 8/8 panes on ground floor under wood lintels. Doorway has pointed hood on shaped scrolled brackets.
