Description
The Manor House, formerly known as St Leonard's House, dates back to 1654. This three-storey building features a red brick facade set on a rubble base, which is now plastered. It has a tiled roof, wooden bracket eaves cornice, and a brick stringcourse. The elevation includes four dormers, four windows, and four window spaces, all with intact glazing bars.
At the center of the front, there is a two-storey projection with two windows, topped by a shaped gable that is flanked by urns. This projection also features a tablet in the center, which contains a cartouche and a pediment above. The entrance is marked by a doorcase in a fluted frame, complete with a rectangular fanlight and a pediment supported by brackets, leading to four-panel double doors. Additionally, a small wooden projection on the ground floor serves as the tradesmen's entrance, located to the west of the main projection.
The Manor House forms a group with Nos 5 and 5A.
