Description

Botfield Cottage is a late 18th century to early 19th century building located on Church Hill. It is two storeys high with a basement, constructed of painted brick and topped with an old tiled roof. The cottage features two sash windows with intact glazing bars. In the centre, there is a round-headed doorcase that originally had a fanlight, which has since been filled in, and it contains an eight-panelled door. Botfield Cottage is part of a group that includes Nos 5 to 9 (odd) and Nos 13 to 17 (odd), along with Nos 1 and 2 (Centuries) on Barthlomew Street.
