Description

Chimneys is a group of three small 18th century houses located on Hillside Street. Nos 7 and 11 each have two storeys and two windows, while No 9 has three storeys and one window. Nos 7 and 11 are finished with cement, whereas No 9 features painted brick and a half-hipped tiled gable. All three houses have tiled roofs. No 7 is distinguished by a modillion eaves cornice, and all houses retain their glazing bars. Nos 7 and 11 also feature doorcases with flat hoods above. Together, Nos 7 to 11 form a group with No 17 Church Hill.
