Description

This is a late 18th or early 19th century butcher's shop and outhouse, likely built on the site of an earlier timber-framed building. The building is constructed of red brick with a mansard roof covered in machine tiles. It has two storeys and originally had three windows. The upper floor has recessed six-pane sash windows. The ground floor features an early to mid-19th century shop front on the right-hand side, with windows and two doors. A deep wooden hood is supported by cast iron scroll brackets. A single-storey extension to the south has a plain brick wall with a sash window. A weatherboarded outhouse is located at the rear.
