Description
Wormley House is a mid to late 18th-century building constructed of brown brick with gauged red brick lintels. It stands three storeys high over a basement, topped with a slate roof that is hidden behind a parapet. A moulded stucco cornice band runs above the second floor. The façade features four recessed sash windows, with the two on the north side being narrower. The entrance includes a six-panel door, where the top two panels are glazed, framed by an architrave surround with consoles and a dentil cornice. An oblong fanlight with pointed-arch glazing bars completes the entrance.
