Description

This is an early 19th century range of four cottages located on the north side of Church Lane in Hoddesdon. The cottages are constructed with yellow brick which is now covered in modern roughcast rendering, and have a slate roof. There are three tall chimney stacks, one central and one at each end. The cottages are two storeys high with four windows in total. The first floor of number 4 has a horizontal sliding sash window. Numbers 2 and 4 have vertical sash windows to the ground floor. Number 6 features a bow shop window with a simplified entablature. Segmentally arched doors are present with moulded architraves and cut bracketed hoods.
