Description
The Queens Head Public House is a 17th century or earlier timber-framed building that has been altered in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is a hall house with a lower cross wing on the north side, featuring painted plaster and roughcast exterior and an old tiled roof. The building has two storeys and attics, with dentilled bargeboards on the north gable and a south dormer. The first-floor and attic windows are 19th-century casements, while the ground floor has been modernized. There is also a 19th or 20th-century extension on the south front side, constructed of painted brick and topped with a hipped roof.
