Description

Nos. 6 and 7 Cambridge Road are a pair of semi-detached cottages dating from the mid-19th century. The construction incorporates red brick and exposed timber framing with plaster infill. The southern elevation features two linked, two-storey gabled projections with tile hanging on the first floors. The roof is covered in peg tiles and is half-hipped to the west, with a gablet, and gabled to the east. A central brick stack, designed in a 17th-century style, is clustered. The windows are contemporary casements with glazed bars. Decorative features include pargetting, brick nogging, arched window heads, and shingled infill to the window spandrels.
