Description

The Hermitage is a timber-framed house originally dating to the 17th century, which has been significantly altered in the 20th century, with a large modern addition constructed at the north end. The house is two storeys high, with exposed timber framing visible on the upper storey. A two-storey gabled porch has been added to the centre of the front elevation. The roof is thatched and features a central chimney stack with cruciform shafts set diagonally.
