Description
Frog Lane Farmhouse is a timber-framed house that dates from the 17th century, with mid-19th century and modern additions. It has one storey and an attic, featuring a two-storey Victorian porch that projects at the front (west) and a later wing added at the south side angle. At the rear, there is a recent two-storey block connected by a narrow wing. The roof is covered with red tiles, half-hipped over the older section, gabled over the porch, and fully hipped over the modern part. The old part of the house is half-timbered with red brick infill and other walling, while the upper floor of the porch attachment has tile hanging. The windows are casements, including one small old leaded light. The doorway features an open gabled canopy supported by curved brackets and a half-glazed door.
