Description
70 and 71 Ridge Lane is a timber-framed house dating from the 17th century, with 20th-century alterations. It has two storeys and is now arranged as a nearly symmetrical pair of windows. The roof is covered with red tiles and features a large square chimney stack, along with four later gables that have bargeboards and half-timbering. The frame is mostly exposed on the first floor, with red brick infill and other types of walling. The windows are modern casements, and there are gabled porches, one of which is open while the other has brick side walls. The rear of the building has modern extensions.
