Description

15 Swan Street is a timber-framed house dating to the 17th and 18th centuries, with a later front elevation. It is two storeys high and has two windows. The roof is tiled and hipped at the north side, with wrought-iron eaves brackets. The walls are painted brick, featuring one rubbed flat arch, a partial first-floor band, and a high plinth. The windows are sash windows in exposed frames. A long, moulded cornice, likely from a former shopfront, extends above the modern front door and a modern angled bay supported by a bracket, located on the north side. The substantial rear section of the building retains timber framing with painted brick or rendered panels, modern casement windows, and a large chimney stack.
