Description
Middle Lodge is a lodge built around 1899-1901 by R. Selden Wornum. It is constructed of red brick and features boxed wooden eaves beneath low, plain tiled half-hipped roofs. There are two brick stacks on the ridges, one larger on the right and a smaller one on the left. To the right of the center, there is a projecting bay with an octagonal end and a hipped roof. On the left end, there is a lower, wide half-hipped projecting bay with a gabled semi-dormer situated between them. The building is one storey high with an irregular front that has three windows, which are casements with glazing bars. The entrance is located in a two-bay loggia beneath a catslide roof at the right end, facing the front.
