Description

The barn at Rooks Farm, dating from the 18th century, is a five-bay structure with a modern one-bay extension to the north. It features an aisle on the east side and is attached to a three-bay cartshed with an eastern aisle at its southern end. The barn is constructed with timber framing, including queen posts with arched braces, set on a brick base. It has a red tile roof that is half-hipped at the north end and includes a gabled entrance located in the second bay from the south on the east side. The walls are weather-boarded, while the aisles are made of red brick. The cartshed has smaller framing similar to the barn but lacks a roof collar and also features weather-boarded walls. There is a modern extension on the west side.
