Description

Harewood Cottage is a timber-framed and plastered house that dates from the 16th to 17th century. It has been altered and expanded in the early 19th century and later. The building stands two storeys tall and features early 19th-century iron casements with glazing bars, some of which have "gothic" arched upper panes. There is a weather-boarded plinth, and the roof is tiled and half-hipped. Inside, the cottage showcases exposed timber-framing, ceiling beams, and joists.
