Description

Witchtree is a timber-framed and plastered house that dates back to the 16th century, although it has undergone significant alterations in the 19th century and later. The building stands two storeys tall, with part of the upper storey jettied on the north-east front, featuring an original moulded bressummer. Most of the windows are modern casements, and the roof is covered with slate. Inside, the house showcases exposed timber-framing, ceiling beams, and joists.
