Description

Boytons is a 16th-century timber-framed and plastered house situated on an L-shaped plan. The building was substantially restored and renovated in the 20th century, with the addition of a wing to the south-east end. It is two storeys high with attics. The windows are modern casements with lattice leaded lights. The tiled roof features a rebuilt stack with two diagonally-set shafts. The interior reveals exposed timber framing, ceiling beams, and joists, some of which are moulded.
