Description

Fanes Cottage is a 17th and 18th century timber-framed building, originally plastered with some exposed timber framing. The roof is thatched, with half-hipped ends to the north and south. The cottage is one storey in height with attics, and has three eyebrow dormers on its east front. It features one ridge and one end external chimney stack. The cottage has been renovated and now has modern casement windows. A modern two-storey addition with a tiled roof is located on the west side.
