Description

Pollards Cross is a late 16th century timber-framed and plastered house, designed in an L-shaped plan with wings extending to the west and north. The building has been restored and renovated in the 20th century, with all the timber-framing now exposed. It stands two storeys high with attics, featuring casement windows from the 20th century and tiled roofs. The south block includes an original central chimney stack that has four octagonal shafts with moulded caps and bases, set on a square base. Inside, the house showcases 17th century panelling and doors, along with exposed timber-framing, ceiling beams, and joists.
