Description

The dovecote at Orford House, located about 80 meters northeast of the main house, is an 18th-century structure made of timber framing and plaster, resting on a brick base. It has a square shape and features a doorway on the west side, with a two-light window positioned above it. The roof is pyramidal and tiled, adorned with a coved plaster eaves cornice, and topped with a square cupola that also has a pyramidal tiled roof. Inside, there are 350 nests for doves.
