Description
This early 19th century farmhouse is timber framed and rendered with a slate hipped roof. It is a two-storey building of a square, double pile form, featuring red brick stacks on its outer walls. The front elevation has three double-hung sash windows with small panes and moulded surrounds on the first floor. A central pilastered and flat hooded doorcase is present, with a diamond motif in the entablature and a fanlight decorated with a pattern of eclipse, sphere, triangle, and circle. A flight of stone steps leads to the entrance. Flanking the door are semi-circular bay windows, also with curved double-hung sashes and small panes, topped with flat leaded roofs.
