Description

Fern Cottage is a house from the mid-18th century. It is two storeys high and constructed with a timber frame that is plastered, topped with a gabled roof covered in peg tiles. The front features a three-window arrangement with cast iron casements and a central doorway that has a simple pedimented hood above it. There are two red brick stacks at the gable ends. At the west end, there is a single-storey extension that also has a gabled roof covered in peg tiles.
