Description
Timber Thatch is a house that dates from the 18th century or earlier. It features a timber frame and is plastered, with a low skirt of white weatherboarding. The building has one storey with attics and a hipped, thatched roof, which is complemented by two gabled dormers covered in peg tiles. The front of the house has a central door and old iron casements with leaded lights. There is an off-centre red brick stack at the ridgeline. Additionally, there is a 20th-century mansard roofed extension at the rear.
