Description
Oak House is a house that dates from the 18th century or earlier. It features a timber frame, with some parts exposed and roughcast infill. The ground floor is clad in painted brick, while the first floor is weatherboarded. The roof is plain tiled and the building has a small L-shaped plan. It stands two storeys high, with a gabled wing facing the roadside that includes a garret. Each elevation has one wooden casement window on both floors, and there is a half-hipped cross-wing to the left. A stack is located at the rear right, accompanied by a lean-to extension. There is a boarded door at the rear left. The house is included for its group value.
