Description

The Old Forge is a house from the early 19th century, featuring two storeys and a cellar. It has a timber frame and plastered exterior, topped with a gabled peg tile roof and red brick chimney stacks. At the rear, there is a gabled peg tile extension. The front of the building includes double hung sash windows with small panes, set in moulded surrounds, flanking a simple door surround that has a flat hood supported by metal brackets. A short flight of steps leads up to the entrance.
