It is one storey high with attics, and has a gabled peg tile roof with a single gabled casement dormer window in the front roof slope. The rear of the house has two later lean-to extensions and a large 19th-century red brick stack. The front elevation features a door and a casement window, along with old pargetting. One flank elevation has the lower half of the wall clad in wide painted weatherboarding. Originally a small house, it has a side purlin roof.
