Description

The Feathers is a 17th-century house located on Feathers Hill in Hatfield Broad Oak. It features a timber frame with plaster and some painted brick sections. The building has two storeys and a peg-tile roof, which is gabled at the south end and half hipped at the north end. There is an off-centre ridge line stack and a single-storey lean-to with a peg-tile roof at the north end. The windows are 20th-century metal casements, and the front wall includes some 20th-century pargetting with a painted brick dentil course beneath the eaves.
