Description

This barn, located approximately 70 meters southeast of the previous barn at Mascallsbury, dates from the late 16th century to the early 17th century. It features a timber frame with weatherboarded walls and a roof clad in corrugated iron. The barn has a half hipped roof with goblets and consists of five bays with a Queen Strut roof construction. It includes a midstrey and one aisle, and the joints are constructed with face halved and bladed scarf joints.
