Description

Apple Cross is a cottage dating from the early 17th century, with a mid-17th century extension and a 20th-century wing at the rear. It is timber framed and plastered, featuring some old pargetting. The cottage has a thatched half-hipped roof and is one storey with an attic. There are 19th-century casement windows, and an off-centre original red brick chimney stack. The original frame is exposed internally, retaining a fireplace and several doors with hinges and catches.
