Description

This is a barn located to the west of Kingstons, dating from the late 18th century. It features five bays and is constructed with a timber frame, clad in weatherboarding and topped with a corrugated iron roof that has a gabled midstrey. The roof is built using queen strut construction with staggered side purlins. The barn includes arched braces to the aisle posts and straight bracing on the side walls. Some of the rafters have been reused, and the initials M.R. along with the date 1763 can be found on the rafters.
