Description

This barn, located 200 metres west of Broomshawbury Farmhouse, dates from the late 16th century or early 17th century. It features black weatherboarding and a gabled roof made of black corrugated iron. The structure consists of five bays and has a gabled midstrey on the central bay of the west elevation. Notable architectural details include jowled posts, queen struts, and halved and bladed scarf joints.
