Description

Bent-Marshalls House is a house of several builds, dating from the 16th century or earlier, located next to Shepherds to the north and by the Plant Hire Yard. The house features a gable end facing the road and is constructed with a timber frame and plastered exterior. It has a red plain tile roof with two levels, and is two storeys high with an attic.

The north wall has a five-window range on the first floor, while the ground floor has one window and two hipped tiled bays, all fitted with 20th-century casements. There is an open, gabled, and tiled porch with a boarded door that has two lights. The gable end jetties out to the first floor and eaves, adorned with hanging tiles above the eaves and a small attic window. To the left, there are two 19th-century, three-light windows and a plain boarded door. The house also features three red brick chimney stacks, one of which is external, located to the left of the north wall.
