5/24 Barn approx. 70m NW of Leaden Roding Hall

GV II

Barn, c.1600. Timber framed, weatherboarded, roofed with corrugated iron. 4 bays aligned approximately NW - SE, immediately SW of 8-bay barn, with one midstrey to west. Jowled posts, primary straight bracing in walls, cambered tiebeams with arched braces. Roof framed with joggled butt purlins, inclined queen struts. Gabled at both ends. Original ground sills present on brick footings.
