Description

The Coach and Horses Inn is a late 16th century timber-framed and plastered building with 17th century and later additions at the rear. It stands two storeys high, with the upper storey jettied across the entire front, supported by exposed joists and curved brackets. The timber-framing is visible on the first storey. There are four windows on the front: leaded casements on the first storey and canted bays with double-hung sashes featuring glazing bars on the ground storey. The roof is tiled.
