Description

The Old Forge is a house that likely dates from the 16th century. It is timber-framed and plastered, featuring a gable on the west side and two storeys. The upper storey juts out over the ground floor on the west front, supported by curved brackets. There is one range of leaded casement windows. The ground floor includes a shallow canted bay beneath the jetty. The roof is tiled and has an original chimney stack on the north side, which is hexagonal with three shafts on a rectangular base.
