Description

The Toll House is an early 19th-century building that is timber-framed and plastered, featuring plaster panels on the front. It stands two storeys high and has a three-window range of leaded casements. The roof is covered with slate and includes one central chimney stack and one end chimney stack. On the front of the building, there is an early 19th-century painted notice that reads "Newport Toll Bridge" and lists the toll charges.
