Description

Belmont House is a large timber-framed building with 18th-century external features. The main block is two storeys high with attics, and has three gables on its south side, the central one being a mansard roof. The windows are mainly double-hung sashes with glazing bars. Later brick additions are present on the north and east sides. The roofs are tiled, and a coved plaster eaves cornice runs along part of the west side. The building is listed for its group value.
