Description
No. 7 Belmont Hill is a 15th to 16th century timber-framed and plastered house, featuring a small 16th century extension at the north end. The building has two storeys, with the upper storey jettied across the entire front, showcasing exposed joists. The main block from the 15th to 16th century includes a moulded bressummer. The timber-framing is visible on the upper storey and in the central part of the ground storey. There are three windows, which are small casements with glazing bars. The front door is boarded and dates from the 20th century. The roof is tiled and has a large central chimney stack with attached shafts at the north end.
