Description

Stocks located on the road verge to the south of Green Street, approximately 30 metres southwest of Haden's End. The stocks are made of square posts that are chamfered and have stops, with repairs made at the base. They feature two hinged iron clasps, each equipped with three saddles for wrists and a hasp. The ankle boards are missing, but their position is documented in a photograph taken in 1927 at the Essex Record Office.
