Part of early C16 house, extended and altered in C18, C19 and C20. Part timber-framed and plastered, part brick and plastered, roof tiled. The earliest part is at the S end of the present building, of L-plan, with evidence of former crownpost roofs in both wings, probably only part of a larger house of which the remainder has gone. Extended to W in C18 to form a square plan. Extended to N in C19. 3 chimney stacks, all external. Bay windows constructed on 3 sides in C19. 2 storeys, roof hipped. On ground floor, inserted double garage, one sash window and 2 bays each of 3 sash windows, C20 light alloy. 6-panel door and fanlight with intersected tracery, Doric porch with engaged columns, broken pediment with rosettes below cornice, wooden, mid-C18. On upper floor, C20 casement window and C19 sash window above garage. C19 sash window above porch. 2 C20 light alloy sash windows to left of porch, bay of 3 C20 light alloy sash windows to right of porch.
