Description
This is a 15th-century hall house, modified in the 16th and 17th centuries, with a 20th-century extension. It is timber-framed with plaster render and a tiled roof. The original layout included a service crosswing, aligned north-south. A central chimney stack was added to the hall in the late 16th century, positioned with its back to the cross-entry. The western hall block was rebuilt as a two-story structure in the 17th century. A 20th-century extension with a hipped roof at the east and a half-hipped roof at the west was added, along with a single-story extension to the south. The front facade features a two-window range of 20th-century casement windows. There is some original 17th-century panelling inside. Some of the timber framing is exposed in the crosswing.
