Description

Lower Rays Farmhouse is a 15th-century cottage with later additions and alterations, currently undergoing restoration. The building has one storey and an attic, featuring a half-hipped, plain red tile roof with two levels and a brick wing at the rear right. It is timber framed and plastered, with two gabled dormers and three casement windows. There is a boarded door to the left and a plain red tiled gabled porch to the right. An off-centre red brick chimney stack is also present.
