Description

Oak Cottage is a cottage that originated as a mid-17th century three-bay barn, which was converted in the 18th century. The building has one storey and an attic, topped with a thatched roof featuring two gabled dormers. An off-centre gabled porch, supported by timber braces, extends from the front. The structure is timber framed and plastered, with a range of three 20th-century diamond leaded casement windows. There is a 20th-century board door and two chimney stacks, one off-centre and one made of red brick, located to the left.
