Description

The gates, gate piers, and railings to Cambridge Lodge date from the mid 19th century. They feature brick octagonal piers topped with weathered precast stone that has panels decorated with roses and a portcullis, and these are surmounted by bull heads. The structure includes wrought iron gates and spearhead railings that flank the entrance, all set on a brick base with a moulded stone cap.
