Description
Forge Cottages, located to the east of the Forge, are a pair of cottages dating from the early to mid-19th century. They are constructed with a timber frame and weatherboarding, topped with a red pantile roof and featuring a central red brick chimney stack. The cottages are two storeys high and have a two-window range of vertically sliding sash windows that include glazing bars and horns. Each cottage has a four-panelled door on the right and left, with moulded surrounds and flat canopies above. Adjacent to the cottages is the single-storey forge, built from similar materials, which has one small paned window and double doors.
