Description

ST. OSYTH SPRING ROAD ROAD TM 1215 (west side) 15/176 No. 16 Bay House GV II House with attached rear outbuilding. C18 or earlier. Timber framed and weatherboarded. Taller rear range brick and plaster. Red plain tiled roofs, gable with bargeboards and finial to road, outshot to right with an attached hipped single storey outbuilding now used as a garage to far right. Left, right and rear red brick chimney stacks that to left English bond. One storey and attics. Small paned vertically sliding sash window with shutters to gable. Hipped red tiled ground floor angled bay roof, vertically sliding sashes with glazed margins, moulded surrounds. Right 4 panelled 2 light door, arched frieze, flat canopy on brackets. C19 3 light window to outshot. Double vertically boarded doors to outbuilding. Return gutters on brackets.
