Description

Nos. 46 and 48 Spring Lane are a pair of cottages dating from the 19th century. They are constructed with a timber frame and are weatherboarded, topped with a grey slate roof. The cottages feature three red brick chimney stacks and stand two storeys high. The front has a three-window range of small paned vertically sliding sashes, with pentice boards above the ground floor windows. There are also two vertically boarded doors, each with pentice boards over them.
